Forum on Western Sydney Airport

Representing the community

The Forum on Western Sydney Airport (FoWSA) linked the community, government and the Western Sydney Airport Corporation during planning and construction of Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.

It provided a consultative forum for the exchange of information and ideas from 2017 until the finalisation of the airspace and flight paths for the airport in 2025.

The final FoWSA meeting was on 19 June 2025.

The airport operating company, WSA Co Limited has now established the WSI Community Aviation Consultation Group (CACG) to lead community engagement for the airport.

For information about the WSI CACG see WSI Community Aviation Consultation Group (CACG) | Western Sydney International Airport.

For more information about how FoWSA worked, see the FoWSA fact sheet PDF: 208 KB. For information about the role, structure and governance of FoWSA, see the Terms of Reference PDF: 183 KB.
